Nigeria A Theater For Evil Godfathers?

The question whether the Nigeria state is a theater for
evil godfathers, where their employee act their script,
in a hijacked elective office, that also disenfranchised
the voters right with disregard to the rule of law, has
caused a thought provoking discussion for the literally
mind, due to political robbery and terrorism that marred
the last three elections, which was concertedly
engineered by the evil godfathers, the only reason why I
should talk about it is that, the Nigerian state is the
last hope of every black man or woman in diaspora, being
the largest most populated, and naturally endowed with
one of the finest human and natural resources on the
planet earth, this not to be as the activity of evil
godfathers, pervert the will of the people to exercise
the choice of elected representative, and subjecting the
citizen to second slavery in the 21st century, this is
unacceptable to all civilized mind ,and the developed
democracy of the modern world.
I have no ill feeling, about godfatherism, if it is about
Nation building and community Development, that bring
about the development of the citizenry, that open the
door for the development of human and material
resources, a system that allow free participation in all
the political processes, either at party or voters level
without any interference of evil godfatherism. Notable
noble godfathers, such as Rooesvelt, Jefferson, Abraham
Lincoln, Indira Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr,
Nelson.Mandela ,Abubakar Tafawa Balewa , Nnamdi Azikwe
,papa Awolowo. Kwame Nkruma,Jomo Kenyatta,Julius Nyerere,
these are men whose names will always be remembered
in good history books. The fact is, the Nigerian present
day godfather, wear the garment of nobility in disguise,
but the beast in them which will make history their
grave yard, is that they possess an avalanche of greed,
their evil activity contest the authority of almighty
God in the destiny of the people who live within the
geographical space called Nigeria. It is a known fact as
they are the axis of evil , that clog the democratic
destiny of Nigeria political process, from allowing the
human and material resources to evolve into a modern
industrialized state. It is also a known fact that
ninety eight percent of the treasures ,movable and
immovable commonwealth of the nation is all stack away
in their private vault, it has been said in many
international financial forum that over four hundred
billion dollars in monetary value have been stolen from
Nigeria, this in itself is an economic crime against
humanity and the Nigerian people, that is why the peace
being negotiated in the Niger delta is like crossing the
Atlantic Ocean without a boat. As a result of the amount
of the nation's wealth in their private vault, they are
able to employ some of the elite ,who go to them with a
cup in hand to be appointed into elective offices, after
an occult oat taking for the employee to strictly act
the evil godfather's script while in office, the evil in
it is that an employee in this elective office, serve
the interest of the master, not the electorate, who have
been politically robbed and terrorized of their
inalienable right to their choice of leadership, that is
why all the employee occupying positions such as local, state, or federal elective offices will not do well,
because the money allocated to all sector of government,
the evil godfather, takes a large proportion of it, the
employee keeps the balance, and a crunch for his aid, and
the people are left with nothing, government
institutions, such as health, education, roads, even
security of citizen life and property are left
unattended, People are suffering and smiling, the smile is an
expression of pain and slavery.
Those employee that have to express their own
independent mind to serve the people, and undermine the
evil godfather’s script in the garbage are met with
brutal force, either they arrange a kangaroo impeachment
to sack them from office or they are assassinated,
several people have paid the supreme price of evil
godfather, such as Mko Abiola,Bola Ige, the surviving
ones, such as Ngige, Diepreye Alam. and many others still
living, have a story to tell the next generation of
their family, I hope they tell a good story, that man
does not live by bread alone, that evil godfather does
not provide the basic necessity, without an evil price.
Even members of the Nigerian Bar are now part of the new
recruits of the evil godfather political robbery
machinery, they are made to smuggle ballot boxes stuff
with ballot papers in the trunk of their vehicle, and
they were subsequently arrested by police, it was
publish in one of the daily newspapers, other members of
the Bar were hired to stamp and sign ballot papers, it
is an open fact, just to have the benefit of been
employed in to a political office, ,like I know ,lawyers
are the custodian of the right of the people, and were a
corresponding duty has been performed, and a right is
violated, it is the responsibility of the bar to advocate for such
wrong to be corrected, this is not to be, because of the
greed largely influenced by the evil godfather. Nigeria
is one ,of many nation of the world today, that give
legitimacy, to political illegality, that offend every
standard of any known democratic civilization of this
world, that is why the European observers said the
election conducted by professor Iwu was a sham ,well the
only answer the professor could give in the circumstance
for his shameless act, was that
the European observers cannot tell the Nigerian people
how to conduct their affairs, the professor forgot
easily that the tax payers money, used for the election
is the collective wealth of eligible voters and the
Nigerian people, the professor forgot also that the
world is now a global village.
If you don’t conduct the affairs of your country, when you are privileged to serve in a public office of trust , such as the electoral commission to the good and wellbeing of your fellow countrymen and women, you expose them to humiliation, because all other nations in the global village will treat your fellow country men and women as disorganized people even when individually they are organized. Just the greed for monetary gain, your act and omission , has resulted to pain and misery, those who survived, will never forgive people of your generation, heaven probably will have the record of Nigerians that are drowned daily in an effort to cross the Mediterranean sea to have a share of the European nations greener pastures, this is one of the consequences of a failed system ,because some good professor out there put the European system in order, acting the script of evil godfather, in conducting the last election, and defending the process as free and fair, that is giving legitimacy to illegality, by your statement ,you have dishonored the institution that honored you with a professorial chair, your integrity is now well buried in the garbage now that the tribunal have lifted the veil to show the people that you are not a man to hold a public office of trust such as independent electoral commission. Thank goodness that the Nigerian judiciary has assured the people that there is hope for the electorate, in the discharge of their legitimate role to the Nigerian society, some school of thought are of the view that the INEC chairman should be imprisoned for life without parole.
We all know that the immediate past president, exposed the junta regime of the late general Abacha, for looting the treasury some of which can never be returned to Nigeria, the same president was the minister of petroleum for eight years and the Refinery refused to refine a single barrel of crude oil for domestic use, it has been said ,his time in office witnessed a monumental fraud, such as the Bermuda Triangle ,the large importation of petroleum products, and the unending increase in pump price for gas ,without accountability. Even Abacha he claimed to have been a looter of the national treasury, showed accountability to the people of Nigeria through general Buhari, in that well known commission, the petroleum trust fund, thank goodness, that he did not outplay the almighty God ,that made him to put in place the Economic and financial crime commission while in office, its knowledge was limited to persecuting his so called enemy, now is the time for every Nigerian home and abroad including staff of NNPC ,especially the crude oil department, PPMC, Napims, all that information about the minister of petroleum/ president ,monumental fraud, either by him, members of his family and their proxy, should be smoked out without further delay, Agent of the economic and financial crime commission should not look the other way, because it will be a double standard, in dispensing justice. All the Elite ,and the people of Nigeria should try to engage this evil godfathers, because they are limited in
numbers, the Judiciary is passionately demanding, that they shall do what is allowed by the existing law of the land, that is the only way society can change for good, that is one step to many issues bordering on the political process in Nigeria.
