Vanguard newspaper is one of  Nigeria's oldest and popular newspapers. It is an independent newspaper owned by Vanguard Media Limited. It is headquartered in Lagos ,but has numerous distribution points across Nigeria.

The paper covers  local news, national news, politics, business, sports, education, health, Niger delta region, entertainment, environment and a host of other issues. Vanguard is a great news resource, but the online site is not well organized and some of the web pages were empty, at the time of this review. The site certainly needs some improvement.
